Beno Lapajne ( Slovenian. Beno Lapajne , born June 10, 1973 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian handball goalkeeper, the standard bearer of the Slovenian national team at the 2004 Olympics.

Biography
Over the course of his career, he has played for the Slovenian clubs Celje Brewery Lasko, Goren (Velene), Prule 67 and Gold Club (Kozina). Abroad, he played for Zagreb (Croatia), Ivry (France) and Aragon (Spain). Champion of Slovenia: 1992, 1993, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002. Champion of Croatia: 2005. He finished his career in 2010.
For the national team of Slovenia, he played 212 games and scored one goal. At the Olympics in Athens, at the opening ceremony, he carried the flag of the Slovenian team , but there the Slovenian team failed, taking only 11th place. He also performed at the Sydney Olympics.
