Biography
Father is Armenian, mother is Swedish. Ancestors survived the Armenian Genocide.
Bohdzhalyan was born in New York . He wrote for Cosmopolitan , Reader's Digest , The New York TImes , and Boston Globe Sunday Magazine . The first novel was published in 1988.
His works are periodically recognized by the bestsellers of The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, and The Midwives, published in 1998, has been included in the list of best books by Oprah Winfrey. The book has been translated into 25 languages, according to its plot a film of the same name was shot.
