Biography
Born in 1903. In 1929 he began his career in the Avangard collective farm in the Bikinsky District of the Khabarovsk Territory. After the deportation of Koreans from the Far East, was determined at a special settlement in the Chiili district of the Kyzyl-Orda region of the Kazakh SSR. He worked as a laborer on the Avangard collective farm of the Chiili district in the village of Akmaya , then he was appointed as a senior team of the rice farm of the same collective farm.
In 1940, using advanced agronomic methods, he achieved considerable success in growing rice, for which he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Kazakh SSR Government in honor of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan.
In 1948, the link under the leadership of Lee Yong-gyun collected an average of 100.5 centners of rice per hectare on an area of 20 hectares [1] . For these outstanding labor achievements he was awarded in 1949 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
In 1955 he was transferred to a special settlement in the Chimkent region, where he began working on the collective farm "Leninism". Since 1964 - working collective farm named after Alisher Navoi.
