Biography
Lev Sukhovykh was born on October 28, 1884 in Tashkent in a noble family of the State Bank controller, state adviser Alexander Sukhovy [1] . After graduating from the Chisinau real school , Konstantin studied at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute . He was first arrested in 1905 for possession of illegal (revolutionary) literature. At that time he was a member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party (AKP).
In 1908, Lev Sukhovy became a member of the combat organization of the Social Revolutionary Party . He was the organizer of the " expropriation " of the treasury in Chardju (modern name - Turkmenabad ), committed in the same year. [1] On October 17, 1908, as a result of mass arrests in Tashkent and other Russian cities (46 people), the further fate of the stolen money was revealed: assistant to the attorney in Tashkent Ivan Charkovsky, “from the money robbed in Chardzha” transferred 6,200 rubles to Kiev in the name of Socialist-Revolutionaries Elena Kryzhitskaya, who transferred them to his wife Vasily Ivanov, and the latter transferred this money to Paris already in her own name. In addition, Charkovsky transferred another 10 thousand rubles to Odessa in the name of the Zenzinov brothers trading house, from where this amount was sent to Moscow to the same company, and then again transferred to Paris in the name of “some kind of Dr. Taft” [2] .
Like his brother Konstantin , Lev Sukhovy was elected a delegate to the Constituent Assembly in the Bessarabian district (list number 2 - Socialist - Revolutionaries ). About his further fate - both during the Civil War and after it - there is no information for today.
