Song

The melody of the Samba of the Chilean composer Nicanor Molinar "Chiu Chiu" in the 50s of the 20th century was widely used in Germany in the Coca-Cola advertisement. Trini Trimpop, then drummer of Die Toten Hosen, wrote a text in the spirit of traditional German drinking songs on an advertising melody. To enhance the comic effect, each next verse of the song sounds slightly faster than the previous one, until the sounds merge into an indistinguishable cacophony.

Video

In the video, filmed for the song by director Wolfgang Buld, the action takes place at the wedding . Under the influence of the bommerlunder used, the participants and guests of the wedding are liberated to such an extent that the celebration gradually grows into utter chaos.
