Biography
Born in 1908 in the Far East. After the deportation of Koreans from the Far East, he was in a special settlement in the Shieli district of the Kyzyl-Orda region of the Kazakh SSR. From 1941, he worked on the “October Road” collective farm and from 1945 to 1958, on the rice-growing link of the “Giant” collective farm (later, the “Bolshevik” collective farm) of the Shieli district.
In 1949, the Kim Chi-hack rice-growing unit collected an average of 80 centners of rice from each hectare on a 5.1-hectare plot. For these outstanding labor achievements he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1950.
He participated in the All-Union Exhibition of VDNH, where he received silver and bronze medals.
Since 1959 - link in the collective farm named after the III International.
