Siskal ( Chech. Siskal ) is a traditional national Vainakh dish, which includes cornmeal , salt and sometimes lamb. The Chechens called Siskal with lard “Mokh Tohna Siskal [1] ”. In the old days, I was looking for Chechens to prepare instead of bread.

Description
To prepare Siskala, knead the dough from corn flour, adding salt to taste. The dough is cut and round into pieces of dough. Siskal is baked in a preheated dry pan, turning from time to time until crusty. After readiness, the siskal is broken by hand and served with cottage cheese mixed with sour cream ( tIo beram ) or hot ghee ( kald-dyatta ) [2] .
