Biography

Dmitry Tyurikov was born in the village of Lomintsovo, Krapivensky district ( Tula province ) in the family of a peasant Vasily Tyurikov. About education and early years of Dmitry for today there is no information. [one]

The tsarist police took Dmitry Tyurikov under surveillance in the midst of the First Russian Revolution , in 1906, as a member of the Party of Socialist Revolutionaries (AKP). In the framework of the AKP, he, by political position, was close to the Socialist-Revolutionary maximalists . [one]

In 1906, Tyurikov was arrested in Tula , living in the city on a forged passport, and sentenced to 3 months in prison in a fortress. Then he was sent by court to the Tobolsk province .

After the February Revolution , in 1917, Dmitry Tyurikov became a fellow (deputy) chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Council . Almost at the same time, he was elected a delegate to the First and then the Second All-Russian Congresses of Soviets of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies . In the same year, he was elected to the Constituent Assembly in the Nizhny Novgorod constituency from the Socialist Revolutionaries and the Council of Peasant Deputies (list No. 3). On January 5, 1918, Dmitry Vasilievich became a participant in the famous meeting-dispersal of the Assembly.

In 1919, Tyurikov became a member of the RPS “Narod” group, which stood for cooperation with the Bolsheviks . In the future, his traces are lost: the role in the Civil War is not clear.
