Biography
Alexey Feofilaktov was born in 1886 in the family of a nobleman Yevgeny Feofilaktov. He entered and studied for a while at St. Petersburg University [1] .
In 1906, Aleksey Feofilaktov appeared under police surveillance as a Social Revolutionary fighter and head of the Nikolaev Committee of the Socialist Revolutionary Party (AKP). By political views in those years, he was close to anarchists . During the period between revolutions, Theophylaktov managed to go into exile , in the dock, in penal servitude , in references . He was also deprived of all the rights of the state .
In 1917, Alexey Evgenievich joined the Left Social Revolutionaries . Then he was elected chairman of the Council of Peasant Deputies and a delegate to the II All-Russian Congress of Peasant Deputies . In addition, he was elected a member of the Constituent Assembly in the Kherson electoral district on list No. 5 (Council of Peasant Deputies, Social Revolutionaries, Ukrainian Social Revolutionaries and the United Jewish Socialist Workers Party ) [1] . On January 5, 1918, Theophylaktov became the participant in the famous meeting of the dispersal of the Assembly, at which he tried to shoot Irakli Tsereteli ( Vladimir Karelin hardly managed to take away his weapon). Despite this, he became a member of the All - Russian Central Executive Committee of the 3rd and 4th convocations.
In Soviet times, Alexey Feofilaktov became a member of the board of the People's Commissariat of Agriculture , where he was one of the developers of the law on the socialization of the land. He was shot in Siberia by Kolchakians [1] .
