Novosibirsk Mechanical Plant Iskra

The plant was established in 1942 as a defense enterprise of a pyrotechnic profile. The first products of the plant are hand-made fragmentation grenades, hand grenades, TNT mines, tetryl detonators, and tractor spare parts.

In 1955, an enterprise specializing in the production of several types of military products turned into a wide-profile mechanical plant. The range of civilian products has expanded, a production line for the manufacture of hunting cartridges has been introduced. Since the mid-60s, the enterprise has mastered the production of a detonating cord - a device for transmitting an initiating pulse to a distance to initiate detonation in explosive charges.

In 1965, the plant received a state assignment for the development of a new promising product - a detonating cord. Along with this, the development of the production of electric detonators and the production of pyrotechnic cutters for aerospace vehicles is ongoing.

In 1971, the company established cooperation with 16 research institutions of the European part of the country and the Siberian region. The production of igniter capsules has begun. 1980 - The production of a heat-resistant cord for use in oil and gas production and a frost-resistant cord for areas of the Far North began.

1984 - A complex for the production of new detonating cords in a polyethylene sheath was introduced. This production has become one of the best in the industry in terms of mechanization and automation of production processes and the removal of workers from hazardous areas.

2007 - The equipment RAMBA (Italy) was purchased for the equipment of hunting and sports cartridges.

2009 - ISO-9001 certification passed.

2010 - Joining SAFEX, the international explosive safety association. Launch of an automatic rotary line for equipping retarders of detonator caps. The certification of the main products in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.

2011 - The first delivery of products to the countries of the European Union (Intexler, Estonia). Launch of a modern automated shock-wave tube manufacturing line.

2013 - Launch of an automatic assembly line for the assembly of non-electric initiation systems. Launch of an advanced automatic rotational line for equipping retarders of detonator caps. Launch of multi-position presses for the manufacture of aluminum sleeves and bushings. Certification of non-safety electric detonators for compliance with the requirements of the European Union has been completed.

2014 - A check was carried out for compliance of production conditions with EU requirements (BAM) and certification of a new detonating cord with a large hitch (80g / m).

2015 - Pilot tests were conducted in the production environment of electronic detonators. Deliveries of products for assembly plants of ISKRA-SERVICE LLP (Kazakhstan) and APARAZH LLC (Armenia) were established. Presentation of the company's products at the conference of the European Association of Explosive Engineers EFEE-2015. Experimental tests were conducted under production conditions of underground workings at the mines of parachutes for intermediate detonators and high-power detonating cords. Pilot tests of high-power detonating cords were conducted in Khanty-Mansiysk and Chukotka. Start of supply of hunting cartridges to Kazakhstan. 2016 - Mass production of high-power detonating cords started. Increased supplies of hunting cartridges to Kazakhstan. Presentation of the possibilities of using a high-power detonating cord and other plant products for extinguishing forest fires. Launch of serial production of an electronic initiating device based on a waveguide and a detonator capsule with electronic slowdown for use in blasting operations on the earth's surface, as well as in underground mines and mines that are not dangerous due to gas or dust ISKRA-T.

2017 - Start of serial production of a new product line - Premium sporting cartridges (Premium-Sport, Premium-Sporting) and Premium hunting cartridges with a plastic sleeve for 12/70 caliber smooth-bore firearms.
