Sports Achievements
Hans Grider participated in the artistic gymnastics competitions with the Swiss team at two Olympic Games. At his first Olympiad in 1924, he won a bronze medal in team competition. Grider himself at the Olympics did not receive medals. His best result was 12th place on the bar. In the individual all-around, he was 22nd.
At the next Olympiad in 1928 in Amsterdam, he won gold in team competitions. The Swiss team includes gymnasts: Hans Grieder, August Güttinger, Hermann Hänggi, Eugen Mack, Georges Miez, Otto Pfister, Eduard Steinemann, Melchior Wezel.
Grider was the seventh in the crossbar competition and the 18th in personal all-around.
