Biography
He became interested in wrestling in 1947. He participated in the country's freestyle wrestling championships 12 times (1947-1963). In 1953 he graduated from the school of trainers at the Lesgaft Institute , and in 1958 - the Lesgaft Institute. Judge of the All-Union Category (1969). Multiple champion of Leningrad and the sports society Dynamo . Coach of the Spartak Society (Leningrad) in 1958. In 1959-1974, the coach of the Leningrad freestyle wrestling team. Chairman of the Federation of Free Wrestling of Leningrad and Chairman of the Coaching Council of Leningrad. On his initiative and under his leadership, the School of Higher Sports Excellence was built on Kamenny Island in Leningrad. He was buried in the cemetery in memory of the victims of January 9th .
