History
Intracom was founded in 1977 in Argiroupoli as a software developer for telecommunication systems. In 1983 - 1985 he relocated to the city of Peania and began the development and production of his telecommunication solutions. The company is actively involved in digitalizing Greek telecommunication networks. In the early 90s, INTRACOM TELECOM became the largest manufacturer of telecommunication and information systems in Greece. In 1990, the company's shares began to be traded on the Athens stock exchange . In 2005, the company was restructured. The parent company INTRACOM HOLDINGS appears, which includes: INTRACOM TELECOM (telecommunications), INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS (defense systems) and INTRACOM IT SERVICES (IT services). In June 2006, Sitronics JSC, which is controlled by the Russian financial and industrial group of AFK Sistema OJSC , acquires 51% of the shares of INTRACOM TELECOM and 49% remains with INTRACOM HOLDINGS. [2] Since 2015, the sole shareholder of INTRACOM TELECOM is INTRACOM MIDDLE EAST FZE. [3]
