Theodore Ratisbon ( fr. Maria Theodor Ratisbonne ; December 28, 1802 , Strasbourg , - January 10, 1884 , Paris ) - a Catholic priest, preacher and author of several writings on religious themes.

Theodore Ratisbon was born into a traditional Jewish family, his father was president of the Strasbourg Jewish Religious Council. He received an excellent education and until his conversion to Christianity was a practicing lawyer. In 1826, after a few of his friends, he converted to Catholicism , which leads to a complete rupture of relations with his family. In 1830, Theodore takes priesthood. He consistently held the positions of professor at Petit Seminaire and a priest at the Cathedral of Strasbourg Cathedral.
In honor of the miracle of the apparition of the Virgin Mary, his brother Alphonse Ratisbonu, Theodore, together with Alphonse, founded the Male and Female Order of Our Lady of Sion (Notre Dame de Sion) for the Christian education of Jewish children. Theodore received permission from Pope Gregory XVI for missionary work in the Jerusalem district.
T. Ratisbon wrote "The History of St. Bernard", "Guide for Christian Mothers", "Reflections of St. Bernard", etc.
