Career
Engaged in shooting sports Brun began in 2001 . Five years later, for the first time he made his way to the Norwegian team in his age category. In 2009, at the European Championship in Osijek, he became a bronze medalist in junior competitions.
Since 2010, the Norwegian has been performing in the adult age category. In 2011, he won his first victory at the World Cup, winning three-position small-bore rifle shooting competitions in Wroclaw, Poland.
In 2012 he made his debut at the Olympic Games . He played only in shooting from three positions , where he was able to break through to the finals and took 7th place there.
At the 2014 World Cup in Granada, Spain, he won two medals (of which one is gold), but both were won in non-Olympic types of programs (shooting from 300 meters). In the Olympic disciplines he took places in the second ten.
At the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro Ole, Christian Bruen was the standard bearer of the Norwegian team at the opening ceremony of the Games. He performed in three types of shooting program . In shooting from an air rifle it was 40th, from a rifle while lying down - in 43rd, and in shooting from three positions I made it with the third result to the finals, where I performed not very well and took the last, eighth place.
