Background
After the death of the Seljuk Sultan Melik Shah I in 1092, the Seljuk Empire was engulfed in civil strife; the sultan throne successively passed from one son of Melik Shah to another. The central government began to lose control of the provinces [2] . The father of Ibrahim Bey Inal Bey in 1096 separated from the State of the Seljukids and formed the Bailik Inalogulullara with its capital in Diyarbakir [3] .
Biography
Emir Ibrahim submitted to the Seljuk branch in Damascus. On October 21, 1097, the Crusaders, led by Boemund of Tarenta, besieged Antioch . To help the city, the Seljuks gathered an army led by the Mosul Atabek Kerboga . Inalogullary joined the Seljuk army, moving to defend Antioch. On June 3, 1098, the crusaders captured Antioch. Four days later, the Muslim army arrived at the walls of Antioch and in turn besieged the city [4] . However, the crusaders managed to put Kerbog to flight and kill a significant part of his army. After that, the Inalogullars became vassals of the Koni Sultan of Kylych-Arslan I and participated in its wars with the crusaders in 1101 [3] [5] .
