Sadr Bey ( Ottoman. صدر , Tur. Sadr Bey , rules: 1095 - 1096 ; d. 1096) - ruler of Diyarbakir from the Inalogulullara dynasty [1] .

Background
After winning the Battle of Manzikert over Byzantium , the Seljuk Turks invaded Asia Minor , over the next 10 years, almost the entire peninsula was occupied by Turkic tribes. The state of the Seljuks soon began to disintegrate, a number of feudal states - bailiks - appeared on the territory of Asia Minor.
Biography
After the death of the Seljuk Sultan Melik Shah I in 1092, a civil war broke out [2] . Tarkhan-Khatun, the widow of Melik Shah, proclaimed the sultan of her 4-year-old son, Mahmud, and moved with troops to Isfahan , where there was a son of Malik Shah from another wife - 12-year-old Berkiyaruk . In 1093, the troops of Tarkhan-Khatun were defeated at Barujerd, and in 1094 they were finally defeated [3] . At the same time, the ruler of Syria, Tutush declared himself the supreme sultan and invaded Asia Minor [2] . Sadr Bey was a judge in Diyarbakir, he managed to repel the attack of the Tutush army on the city in 1094 . For this, Sultan Barkiyaruk appointed him Governor of Diyarbakir. Sadr Bey was able to repel the invasion of the Mosul Emir Kurboga, and soon after he died. He was inherited by his son Inal Bey [4] , who soon proclaimed independence from the Seljuks [5] .
