(1010) Marlene

(1010) Marlene ( German: Marlene ) is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on November 12, 1923 by the German astronomer Karl Rheymnuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl observatory [1] . At the suggestion of the German astronomer was named after the legendary German actress and singer Marlene Dietrich (1901-1992) [1] . The Tisseran parameter relative to Jupiter is 3.264. Photometric measurements of the asteroid in 2005 revealed brightness fluctuations with a period of 31.06 (2) hours and an amplitude of 0.32 (2) stellar magnitude caused by its rotation [2] .
