Biography
Valentin Almazov was born in 1889 in the Simbirsk province to the family of a deacon . [1] He studied at the Simbirsk Theological Seminary , from which he was expelled in 1905. Since that time, he was under police surveillance .
Soon Almazov joined the Party of Socialist-Revolutionaries (AKP), where he received the pseudonym "Razumovsky". In 1907, he was expelled by the court in the Vologda province .
Almazov worked as a journalist, writer, and editor of the Volzhskiye Vesti newspaper. In 1917, he was elected a delegate to the III rd congress of the AKP (May 25 - June 4) and the II nd All-Russian Congress of Peasant Deputies . In the same year, he became a member of the Constituent Assembly in the Simbirsk electoral district from the Social Revolutionaries and the Council of Peasant Deputies (list No. 2). Valentin Ivanovich participated in the meeting-dispersal of the Assembly of January 5, 1918.
In 1918, Almazov became a member of the first anti-Bolshevik government of Russia - KOMUCHA . Almost immediately he was arrested by Kolchak , but released at the request of the rebel Czechs . In the early 1920s, departing from politics, Valentin Almazov was engaged in science and cooperation ; settled in Tobolsk province . He was shot by the KGB during the West Siberian uprising as a man who could be useful to the "bandits." [2]
