PJSC TNS Energo Group of Companies is one of the largest independent energy retail companies in Russia , which manages 10 energy sales companies serving customers in 11 regions of the Russian Federation. In 2016, according to Forbes magazine , TNS Energo took the 30th place in the rating of the largest Russian companies [2] .

Content
History
The company began its work in 2003 under the name of Transneftservice C LLC (“TNS S”). The main activity of which was the energy supply of trunk pipelines of JSC “Transneft” .
In 2006–2011, the company acquired controlling stakes in eight sales regions of the country.
In 2012, Transneftservice S LLC launched the rebranding process, changing its name to GC TNS Energo LLC.
In 2013, the holding's operating area was extended to two more regions. In May 2013, OOO TNS Energo Group of Companies was transformed into OAO TNS Energo Group of Companies.
In December 2014, the public corporation “TNS energo” was renamed into the current operating company, the public corporation “TNS energo”.
Since June 17, 2015, 15% of TNS Energo shares have been placed on the Moscow Exchange (Trading Code - TNSE). [3]

Activity
The scope of the company's activities includes the purchase and sale of electricity on the wholesale and retail electricity markets.
At the moment, TNS Energo Group of Companies provides electricity to about 21 million people, that is, more than 10% of the population of Russia.
TNS Energo operates on the territory of the following regions: TNS Energo Voronezh PJSC (previously - Voronezh Energy Retail Company), TNS Energy Karelia JSC (earlier - Karelian Energy Retail Company), TNS Energy Kuban PJSC ( Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea ), PJSC TNS Energo Mari El (formerly Marienergosbyt OJSC), PJSC TNS Energo NN (formerly OJSC Nizhegorodskaya Retail Company), JSC TNS Energo Tula (formerly OJSC “Tula Energy Retail Company”), PJSC “TNS Energo Rostov-on-Don ” (earlier - OJSC “Energosbyt Rostoven” ergo ”), PJSC“ TNS energo Yaroslavl ”(previously - OJSC“ Yaroslavl Retail Company ”), LLC“ TNS Energo Velikiy Novgorod ”(previously - LLC“ GarantEnergoService ”) and LLC“ TNS Energo Penza ”(Penza Region).
