Biography

Julia Valieva was born on September 11, 1967 [1] in Leningrad [2] . In 1981-1984, she studied with N. A. Knyazeva in the literary club “ Daring ” of the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers . In 1983-1985 she studied in the literary association (LITO) of Victor Sosnora . Member of the apartment exhibition "Nine Companions" (1985), a street exhibition at the Sheremetyevo Palace, exhibitions of unofficial art in the House of Culture of Food Workers , Cultural Enlightenment (1986) [2] .

She graduated from the philological faculty of the A. A. Zhdanov Leningrad State University . In 1998 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of philological sciences on the topic "Poetic language of A. Vvedensky: (poetic picture of the world)." In 1999-2006, she headed the English language department of the Nevsky Institute of Language and Culture. Since 2006, he has been working at the Department of the History of Russian Literature of the Philological Faculty of St. Petersburg University [2] [3] ; Associate Professor [1] . He teaches the history of Russian literature of the XX century [2] .

Specialist in Oberiut creativity (articles were published in the journals Russian Literature, Russian literature, Russian Studies). Author of the book “The Game of Nonsense: The Poetic World of Alexander Vvedensky” (2007) [2] .

Poems were published in the Samyzdat magazine "Black Move" (1983), prose ("Four Twenty: A Novel Animation") - in " Mitya Journal ", poems and prose together in the anthology "Russian Mir" (2010) [2] .

Compiled several fundamental anthologies on the recent history of Petersburg poetry: “Time and the Word. Literary Studio of the Palace of Pioneers ”(2006),“ Twilight of Saigon ”(2009),“ Persons of St. Petersburg Poetry, 1950-1990s: Autobiographies, Author's Reading ”(2011) [3] .
