Biography
Born September 1, 1917 in Buryatia. In 1933 he entered the Irkutsk Veterinary College , which he graduated in 1938. It seemed to him one diploma was not enough, then he moved to Mongolia and in 1941 entered the veterinary department of the Mongolian State University , which he graduated in 1946. From 1946 to 1961 he worked as a teacher in the agricultural and veterinary colleges at the Mongolian State University. From 1961 to the early 1980s, he worked at the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry. From the 1980s to the end of the 1990s, he worked at the Institute of General and Experimental Biology.
He died in 2000 in Mongolia.
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to veterinary medicine and animal husbandry.
- He investigated the causes of death of young farm animals in Mongolia.
- He worked out the issues of stabilizing livestock production.
- He paid attention to the problems of nature conservation, including the protection of rare and valuable hunting animals of the MPR .

Under his editorship, the following scientific encyclopedias and dictionaries were published:
- Small Mongolian Encyclopedia.
- Russian-Mongolian dictionary with the basics of scientific terminology. - In 3 vols.
