Club career

Born on July 5, 1923 in the city of Solbiate Olona . Pupil of the football school of the club "Pro Patria" . He began his adult football career in 1940 in the main team of the same club, with which he was able to leave Serie C to Serie B in the first season, where he spent another season.

In 1942 he moved to Liguria , which made his debut in the Serie A season 1942/43, but failed to gain a foothold in the team, for which he played on loan for Varese and Pro Patria . After the war, he finally moved to Pro Patria . This time he played for the team from the town of Busto Arsizio for the next five seasons of his playing career. Most of the time spent in Pro Patria was the main player in the team that has played in Serie A since 1947.

In the summer of 1950 he moved to Como , with whom he spent three more seasons in Serie A and one in Serie B.

In the 1954/55 season he played in Serie B for Palermo , after which he played for Sanreméze and Pro Patria in Serie C [1] .

He completed his professional playing career at the Borgomanero club, for which he played during 1958-1959 .

Team appearances

In 1948, as part of the national team, he participated in a football tournament at the Olympic Games in London , where he spent 2 matches, scoring 1 goal against the US team [2] .

Coach Career

He began his coaching career, returning to football after a short break, in 1964, heading the coaching staff of the Verbani club [3] .

In the future, he also headed the native class “About Patria” [4] and “Borgomanero”.

He died on August 3, 2011 at the 89th year of his life in the city of Busto Arsizio .
