Lady Bloody Snow ( Japanese 修羅 雪 姫 shurayuki hime , English Lady Snowblood ) is a film directed by Tosiya Fujita , released in 1973 . The tape is based on the eponymous manga Kazuo Koike and Kazuo Kamimura . It is believed that the film was the main source of inspiration for Quentin Tarantino when creating the “ Kill Bill ” dilogy.

Story
The action takes place in the second half of the XIX century. In the sixth year of the Meiji era , when peasant uprisings raged in the country, four villains attack a defenseless family: they kill a father and a young son, rape a mother. She vows to take revenge at all costs and after some time kills one of the criminals, but does not have time to get to the rest: the authorities arrest her and send her to prison to serve a life sentence. Here, a woman comes up with a new plan: at any opportunity, seduces men and soon gives birth to a girl. Dying, the mother instructs her fellow inmates to take care of her daughter. Yuki spends twenty years training under the guidance of a venerable monk and preparing for the only mission in her life - to avenge her mother. And then, finally, she goes in search of villains to arrange a massacre of them ...
