Erhard Buzek ( him. Erhard Busek ; born March 25, 1941 , Vienna ) - Austrian politician, member of the Austrian People's Party.

He received his doctorate in philosophy and law in 1963 at the University of Vienna and began his academic career. In 1964 he began working as a lawyer. Joined the Austrian People's Party. He held the position of vice-chancellor in the government of Franz Vranitzky from 1991 to 1995 and was chairman of the Austrian People’s Party for the same period. From 2000 to 2009, he also held various posts in European institutions as a representative of the Austrian government.
