Usma ( Latvian. Usma ) is a settlement in the Ventspils region of Latvia . The administrative center of Usma volost . Located on the shores of Lake Usmas . The distance to the city of Ventspils is about 52 km [1] . According to data for 2015, 222 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, a cultural center, a library, a feldsher’s point, a shop, a post office, hotels, and a Lutheran church.

History
First mentioned in 1253 [3] . In the XVIII century, there was a Usma manor [4] .
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Usma village council of Ventspils district . The village was the collective farm "Usma" [1] .
