Seli ( Latvian: Sēļi ) is a settlement in the Mazsalac region of Latvia . The administrative center of Selinsky volost . Valmiera is about 59 km [1] . According to data for 2015, 149 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, a culture center, a library, a paramedic, a post office, and a shop.

History
The village arose at the former estate of Seli (Zelen).
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Selinsky Village Council of the Valmiera District . In the village was the collective farm "Ziemeli" [1] .
