Ramata ( Latvian: Ramata ) is a settlement in the Mazsalac region of Latvia . The administrative center of Ramat volost . According to data for 2015, 145 people lived in the village [1] . There is a volost administration, an elementary school, a house of culture, a library, a feldsher point, a post office, and a store [2] .

History
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Ramatsky village council of the Valmiera region . In the village was located the state farm "Ramata" [3] .
