Köni ( Latvian. Ķoņi ) is a settlement in the Nauksen region of Latvia . The administrative center of Konya volost . It is located at the regional highway P17 ( Valmiera - Rujiena - Estonian border). Valmiera is about 52 km away [1] . According to the data for 2000, 85 people lived in the settlement [2] .

History
The settlement arose at the former Köni estate (Königshof).
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Könsky village council of the Valmiera region [1] .
Count German Alexander von Kaiserling (1880–1946), a German philosopher and writer, was born in Köni.
