Johann Christian (or Johann Christian ) Kittel ( German: Johann Christian Kittel ; 1732 - 1809 ) - composer , organist and music teacher , one of the best students of Johann Sebastian Bach .

In 1751 - 1756 years. organist in Langensaltz . After that, until the end of his days he worked in Erfurt . He wrote chorales , preludes , variations . He owns the work Der angehende praktische Organist ( Erfurt , 1801 - 1808 ). The notes of this work were published [4] .
Among his students are Johann Wilhelm Gessler , the sister's son, as well as Michael Gotthard Fischer and Johann Christian Heinrich Rink .
