Yatsenko, Grigory

Yatsenko, Gregory (18? -1920) - an anarchist, member of the Makhnovist movement.

Biography

Born in Orekhovsky district . Before the revolution, was engaged in personal economy. He called himself an anarchist but did not belong to anarchist organizations.

In 1918 he joined the Makhnovist commander, a company of a hundred.

In 1920, the detachment Yatsenko was in the rear of General Wrangel . In October of the same year, Starm issued an order to the Yatsenko detachment to cease hostilities against the Red Army, and a joint statement against Wrangel. [one]

In 1920 he left the RPAU and joined the Russian army, General Wrangel , in which he commanded a rebel detachment. On June 18, Yatsenko issued an "Appeal by the commander of a partisan detachment named after the father of Makhno, B. Yatsenko," the appeal said:

Glorious insurgents of Ukraine !

I, the commander of the partisan detachment named after Father Makhno , call upon you to join our partisan ranks in order to strike with your strength and attack those communist bloodsuckers who shot our fellow partisans. We will sweep the Communist Commissariat of autocracy from our land!

Denikin is not, there is the Russian army . with which we give our hand and close the slender ranks, let us love each other and free our tortured Holy Russia from the commissar kingdom and create power according to the Will of the People.

In October 1920 in Kamyshevakh, Yatsenko was captured by the Makhnovists and executed for treason, his detachment joined the Chaly group. [3] [4] [5]
