Carebara mukkaliensis (lat.) Is a species of very small ants of the genus Carebara from the subfamily Myrmicinae ( Formicidae ). India [1] .

Description
Small ants are dark yellow in color. The body length of the soldiers is about 2 mm. The length of the head of an HL soldier is from 0.61 to 0.63 mm. Rudimentary eyes (from 2 or 3 ommatidia). Antennae 9-segmented with 2-segmented mace. Anterior margin of clypeus with two teeth. Propodeal angles blunt. Females and males were not found. 4-pronged mandibles. The stalk between the breast and the abdomen consists of two segments: the petiolus and postpetiolus (the latter is clearly separated from the abdomen), the sting is developed [1] [2] .
Systematics
The species was described in 2014 during an audit of the local fauna by Indian entomologists Himender Bharti (Department of Zoology and Environmental Sciences, Punjabi University , Patiala , Punjab , India ) and his colleagues. They belong to the tribe Solenopsidini or Crematogastrini [1] [2] .
