Seth Gilliam ( born Seth Gilliam , born November 5, 1968 , New York ) is an American actor. Best known for her roles as Ellis Carver in The Listening , Clayton Hughes in The Prison of Oz , Dr. Alan Deaton in The Wolf Cub , and Priest Gabriel Stokes in The Walking Dead . [1] [2]

Biography
Gillian graduated from Perchise College in 1990.
Gilliam's acting career begins in 1990 and continues to this day; he played in Oscar-winning films, including Still Alice . He also appeared in the credits of Starship Troopers (1997) as Private Sugar Watkins and Courage in Battle (1996) as Sergeant Stephen Altameier. Gilliam had minor roles in television series, including the seventh season of The Cosby Show , in which he played the role of Aaron Dexter, character guy Erica Alexander and Teen Wolf , in which he appeared as Dr. Alan Deaton. [3] His most significant appearance on television was his role in the cult TV series The wiretap . In 2008, he attracted attention by criticizing the show being run in Emmy nominations despite critical acclaim. [4] Gilliam also has a large number of guest roles on television shows, including CSI: Miami Crime Scene , Jackie 's Sister , Skins , Into Sight , and The Good Wife . [5] In addition, he played the role of Clayton Hughes in Prison of Oz .
Gilliam also played in the theater. He played the role of Edward V in the production of Richard III in 1993 and the main role in the productions of Othello by the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company in 2010 and 2011 at the Houston Shakespeare Festival ; [2] The director was his wife Lee K. Gardiner. In addition, he played Mark Anthony in the production of Anthony and Cleopatra at the Houston Shakespeare Festival , where his wife was also the director. Gilliam noted that he prefers to play on stage, but he also loves to work in films or on television. [6] [6]
In May 2014, Gilliam received the role of priest Gabriel Stokes in the fifth season of The Walking Dead from AMC . Considering Chad Coleman and Laurence Gilliard, Jr. , he became the third actor from The Wire to join the show.
Also appeared on large screens in 2018 in the film “Silver Lake”, where he played a man named Jeff [7] .
