Eddie Ermida (born March 23, 1983 , Cabimas , Venezuela ) is an American musician of Venezuelan descent, the author of texts and songs. Vocalist of the groups Suicide Silence and All Shall Perish .

Biography
Hernan Pancheso Ermida was born March 23, 1983 in the Venezuelan city of Cabimas , where he grew up with two sisters until the age of 16 [1] . Eddie showed interest in heavy music from the age of 14, influenced by the Slipknot albums of the band of the same name , Tomb of the Mutilated by Cannibal Corpse , Vulgar Display of Power by Pantera and Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire by Hatebreed . In 1999 , Hernan and his family moved to San Francisco , California , where in 2003 he created his first group, Genmetal Gray , performing a mixture of thrashcore and metalcore [2] . The group managed to record one EP album Solitude . This is the only record where Eddie sings with clean vocals. In 2006 , after the collapse of Gunmetal Gray, Eddie was invited to sing on All Shall Perish , with whom he recorded the Price of Existence album the same year. The albums Awaken the Dreamers and This Is Where It Ends were recorded in 2008 and 2011 . Eddie also sang the song "Slaves to Substance" at a concert in memory of Mitch Laker from Suicide Silence. On October 5, 2013 , Eddie left All Shall Perish to replace the deceased Mitch Laker in Suicide Silence. [3] On April 15, 2014, the name of the new album, Suicide Silence You Can't Stop Me , was released on July 15 [4] . After playing a number of concerts around the world in 2015 , in 2016 the band began recording their fifth album. [5] . Also, in 2015, it was announced that Eddie would return to All Shall Perish [6] .
