Roc Nation is an American company founded by rapper Jay-Z in 2008. The company has offices in New York, London and Los Angeles. This is a full-fledged entertainment service: music, cinema, television production, a universal and production concert company, as well as a music publishing house. The company is home to various artists, musicians and record producers such as Big Sean , Rihanna , Mariah Carey, Kanye West , DJ Khaled , TI , Rita Ora and many others.

History
In April 2008, Live Nation (an American entertainment company) and Jay-Z merged to create Roc Nation. In June 2009, Roc Nation signed a 4-year contract with Sony Music . In 2012, the Colombian singer Shakira signed a contract with Roc Nation to produce 3 albums (the first of which was published in 2013), as well as for two world tours, co-produced by Live Nation. In April 2013, Roc Nation signed a contract with the Universal Music Group. Reserving the right to release new albums by Jay-Z and all Roc Nation members.
