Levy, Hyman

Hyman Levy ( Eng. Hyman Levy ; 02.28.1889, Edinburgh - 02.27.1975, Wimbledon , London ) - British mathematician, philosopher of science and political activist. EMERIT Professor of Imperial College London , a member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (1916).

Born in a large orthodox Jewish family of Marcus Levy, a native of Russia, and German-born Minna Levy, nee Cohen.
