Content
History
The Sretensky Order was established by the Law of October 26, 2009 “On Awards of the Republic of Serbia” as an honorary award for citizens of the country and foreigners for their services in the social, economic, cultural, educational, sports and humanitarian fields of public activity.
The order is awarded by decree of the President of Serbia and is awarded, as a rule, on State Day annually on February 15 and 16 , and can be awarded both to individuals and organizations and institutions.
The Order's design is based on the Order of the Cross .
Degrees
The order has three classes:
- The holder of the order of the 1st degree - the badge of the order on the shoulder strap, the star of the order on the left side of the chest.
- The holder of the Order of the 2nd degree is the badge of the order on the neck ribbon.
- Knight of the Order of 3 degrees - the badge of the order on the chest ribbon folded in a triangle.
Description
The badge of the order is the golden Maltese cross of white enamel crowned with a golden princely hat and superimposed on the Andreev cross of red enamel. In the center of the cross is a round medallion of red enamel with a border of blue enamel. In the medallion there is a straight cross of white enamel with gold heraldic flames at the corners of it. On the border there is an inscription: around the circumference “ETHER 15. FEBRUAR”, below - “1835”.
The reverse of the sign is similar to the obverse, with the exception of the following: in the medallion in the center the year is “1835”; FEBRUAR. " On the crossbars of the Andreev cross there are images of golden heraldic flames.
The sign is attached to the sash with the help of a ring.
The star of the order is silver eight-pointed, formed by bunches of different-sized dihedral pointed rays located pyramidal. In the center of the star is the sign of the order.
Ribbon of the Order of red color with blue and white stripes at the edges.
Symbols
