Pavel Sergeevich Korostylev (born May 11, 1997, Lviv ) - Ukrainian rifleman, champion of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games . Older sister Julia is also a professional shooter.

Career
Korostylev won a landslide victory in air pistol shooting from ten meters at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. With a score of 203.4 points, he set a new youth world record [1] .
Took part in the first European Games , held in the summer of 2015 in Baku , Azerbaijan . There he took the fifth place in the air pistol shooting from ten meters. This allowed him to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics [2] .
In the winter of 2016, he managed to win a bronze medal at the European Championship in air gun shooting [3] . At the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he took 35th place in firing from a pneumatic pistol and 16th - from a rapid-fire gun.
At the second stage of the 2017 World Cup, which was held in Munich , Korostilev scored his first career victory in these competitions, gaining 240.9 points and setting a new world record among juniors [4] .
At the 2017 European Championships, the athlete won six medals. In a pistol shooting at a distance of 50 meters, Korostylev repeated the world record of four-time Olympic champion Chin John O , gaining 230.5 points, and for the first time in his career became the champion of Europe [5] . In shooting from a pistol at a distance of 25 meters, an athlete set a junior world record, gaining 581 points, and became a two-time European champion [6] . In team competitions Korostyliv won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
In 2018, at the World Championships, he became the fourth in the 10-meter pneumatic pistol shooting, which allowed him to become the first Ukrainian athlete to win a license for the 2020 Summer Olympics [7] . In non-Olympic disciplines, the athlete first won a bronze medal in firing a pistol of central action at 25 meters, and then became the world champion in firing from a standard pistol at 25 meters [8] [9] .
On March 23, 2019, Pavel won gold at the European Championship in airguns shooting (from a distance of 10 m) in Osijek, Croatia, gaining 241.3 points [10] .
At the II European Games together with Elena Kostevich won a bronze award in firing a pistol at 25 m [11] .
