Elena V. Gulyaeva (before marriage - Homeland) (born August 14, 1967 , Moscow , USSR ) is a Russian athlete who performed in high jumps [1] . Silver medalist of the 1994 European Championships in Helsinki, participant of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, champion of Russia in the 1994 premises .

Biography and career
She made her debut at international competitions in 1991 at the indoor indoor championship in Seville, where she finished sixth. Then in the same year at the European Cup in Athletics she was convicted of doping and was disqualified for 2 years [2] . After serving the term of disqualification, in 1993 she continued her performances, taking 4th place at the World Championships in Stuttgart. In 1994, she achieved the highest result in her career, becoming the silver medalist at the European Championships in Helsinki. As part of the Russian national team, she performed at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, where she took 4th place.
She graduated from the competition in 2002. After the end of her sports career, she headed the sports school of the Olympic Reserve No. 24 in Moscow [3] .
