Biography

Born June 20, 1974 in Lviv. Higher education, graduated from Lviv State University of Physical Education . The first coach is Vladimir Psyuk. Later he trained with Stepan Tsyupko and Vasily Seredinsky.

Silver medalist of the European Championship 2005 in team competitions, silver medalist of the European Championship 2007 in individual competition.

In 2008, he went to the Olympic Games in Beijing , where he participated in firing with a high-speed pistol (25 m). I went to the finals, but took the last, sixth place there [1] [2] [3] . At the London Olympics, Bondaruk could not pass the qualification round, taking 12th place [4] . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he improved his result by only one position (11th) and again did not make it to the finals.

In the summer of 2013, in Osijek ( Croatia ), at the European Championship in shooting from small-caliber weapons, he won gold in the final of shooting with a rapid-fire pistol, as well as silver in shooting from a standard pistol (defeated by Yusuf Dikec from Turkey ). In the team tournament, Bondaruk, along with Alexander Petriv and Ivan Bednyak, won bronze medals. In 2015, he also became a bronze medalist at the European Championships in Maribor [5] .

Married, his wife's name is Nadezhda, there are two daughters: Anastasia and Yana. He is fond of fishing.
