Format Changes
In January 2013, the International Shooting Sport Federation adopted new rules for holding competitions for 2013-2016, which, in particular, changed the order of the competitions. Athletes who qualify for the finals now begin the decisive round without points scored in the qualification. A semi-final round appeared in the trap shooting, according to the results of which the two arrows, which showed the best result, reach the final, where they determine the winner of the gold medal. Arrows continue to fight for the bronze medal, showing the third and fourth results in the semi-finals [1] .
