Title
The name is probably derived from the geographical location at the intersection of roads: Novosil - Efremov , the road to the settlements near the Rakovka River , the road to the settlements near the Przewka River. Or because in this place, popularly called “Pechery” (Golubets tract), the Ascension Monastery was located and parishioners of the Mikhailo-Arkhangelsk church in the village of Vorotyntsevo performed a procession on the day of the Ascension of the Lord . The village was formed by settlers from the village of Vorotyntsevo , therefore it had another name “Vorotyntsevsky Dvory” [2] . It is believed that the name is derived from the surname of the peasant migrants Krestovyh [3] .
Geography
Located on both sides of the highway Novosil - Efremov on a flat terrain 14 km from the district center.
