Biography
Born in Texas in 1948. At the age of 14 she started her musical career, and at the same time she married the local promoter of the show, James Brown. The singer sent the soul godfather of the soul and in 1970 she was accepted into the James Brown Revue. In 1972, the first and most successful single from the singer “Think (About It)” was released on Brown's label, and the same album was released the same year. After the release of the second album in 1975, Collins' career began to decline, but since the late 1980s there has been an increase in interest in her work in Europe. She continued performing until her death in 2005.
