Vigdorov, Alexander Lvovich

Alexander Lvovich Vigdorov (born 1955 ) is a Soviet and Russian architect, designer of a number of ground and underground facilities of the Moscow Metro . Honorary builder of the city of Moscow [1] .

Biography

Born in 1955 in Moscow . He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1978 . Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR (then Russia) since 1989 . From 1978 to 2008 he worked at Metrogiprotrans . Since 2012, he has been the chief architect of the 15th workshop of Mosinzhproekt OJSC (since 2015, he has been part of Mospromproekt). In 2014, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree on awarding the title of β€œHonorary Builder of the City of Moscow” to Alexander Vigdorov for his great contribution to the development of the city’s construction industry and many years of diligent work [2] .

He also took part in the design of the Butovo line . Under the direction of A. Vigdorov, the workshop No. 15 of Mosinzhproekt completed the projects of a number of future stations of the Third Interchange Circuit (in sections from Prospect Vernadsky to Zyuzino and from Riga to Aviamotornaya), stations of the Nekrasov line , architectural projects of the interiors of the stations , cash rooms and ground lobbies for the Lublin-Dmitrov line [4] .

Awards and Prizes

  • 2006 - β€œCrystal Daedalus” for the project of the Moscow metro station β€œBusiness Center” (now Vystavochnaya , together with L. L. Borzenkov, O. Yu. Farstova) [5] .
  • 2006 - Silver diploma of the XIV International Festival "Architecture" for the project of the station "Business Center" [6] .
