The Chinese team was founded in 2014. The team, consisting of young Chinese players unknown to a wide range of fans, managed to achieve the highest results in 2016. Wings first defeated OG in the finals of The Summit 5 . Then, after winning the Chinese qualifiers at The International 2016 , Wings won the main tournament of the year, defeating the American team Digital Chaos in the final with a score of 3: 1. The victory at The International brought the team record prizes in the history of e-sports - more than nine million dollars.
The team is characterized by an extremely diverse and aggressive manner of play, as well as an unusual and wide pool of heroes. Unpredictability allows a team to claim victory in a match against any opponent. On the other hand, the risky game of Wings affects the lack of stability in the results. So, during the group stage matches of The International 2016, Wings lost to absolute outsiders from TNC, which made them skeptical of their chances of winning the tournament.
