Pinchos Volkovich Prober [1] (1901—?) - Soviet engineer , chemical technologist , theoretician of paper wallpaper production; inventor .
Biography
He graduated from the Leningrad Forestry Engineering Academy with a degree in chemical engineering (1930-1935).
He worked at the Moscow Wallpaper Factory (1940-1961). In 1945-1946, he studied the technology of wallpaper production in Germany, which allowed him to subsequently apply the knowledge obtained when creating the experimental laboratory of the wallpaper factory.
Invented a machine for multi-color wallpaper printing [2] .
He received many patents in the field of paper technology, wallpaper production, etc., in particular:
- a method for detecting paper structure [3] ;
- A method of obtaining a moisture-resistant wallpaper [4] ;
- A method of obtaining a shiny transparent water and grease-proof coating of paper [5] ;
- a method of producing ink-permeable paper [6] ;
- a method for determining the fibers of spring and autumn wood in cellulose [7] .
