According to the actress, she was very attached to the artist, who soon died due to brain cancer . Later, as a backing vocalist, she took part in the recording of the album of her father Il re degli ignoranti . After that, she left the commercial stage, but continued to study music. For the first time, Rosalinda performed with a dance number as part of the musical “Lolita e tu”. Later, at 28, the actress admitted that she did not like this experiment, but she continued touring with the musical because she had a contract.

The role of Satan in the film by Mel Gibson " Passion of Christ " Celentano received by chance. This character initially did not appear in the script at all, but Gibson, who came to Italy to conduct the casting, caught the eye of Rosalind's photographs, which impressed the director, as a result of which he gave the actress the role of Satan. Celentano worked on the set for free, wanting to show that work is important to her, not money. For the sake of the role, she had to shave her eyebrows and learn the text in Aramaic ^[1] .

During her acting career, Celentano was nominated for the David di Donatello film award for Best Actress in a supporting role - in 2000 for her role in the film “Sweet Noise of Life” and in 2002 for her role in the film “Probably Love”. Three times Celentano was nominated for the Silver Ribbon Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Nominations brought her roles in the films “Sweet Noise of Life”, “One Crazy Day!” And “Passion of Christ”, in the latter case the nomination was divided between Celentano, Monica Bellucci and Claudia Jerini .

At 36, Celentano tried to commit suicide by taking 40 sleeping pills and drinking them with vodka. Doctors managed to save her ^[1] .

Rosalind Celentano does not hide that he is a bisexual . She publicly stated that she had novels with both men and women, including actresses Monica Bellucci and Asia Argento . With Bellucci, Rosalind was in a relationship when she was 24 years old, and Monica 28 ^[2] .

Italian singer Biagio Antonachchi in one of his interviews spoke about relations with Rosalind. They met when he was just starting his career, and she turned 18. Then the songs of Pazzo di lei, and Quanto tempo e ancora, dedicated to their relationship, were highly appreciated by the Italian public. Rosalind was invited with her sister Rosita to star in the video clip of the song. In 2013, Celentano in an interview with the Italian edition of Vanity Fair admitted that she wants to marry her lover, actress Simone Borioni, however, Italian law does not allow same-sex marriage ^[3] .

In May 2015, Rosalind admitted that she had ended their relationship, and again free.
