General information

The Sitenka stopping point is located on the three-way electrified stretch Zhilevo - Stupino . Consists of one island direct high platform located between 1 and 2 ways. 3 way stopping point is not served. A canopy was built on the platform to protect passengers from rain, there is lighting. There are no turnstiles. For the passage of passengers from the southern end of the platform through the railway tracks, a flooring was constructed. On the north side, a roadside located 30 meters northwest of the north end of the railway crossing platform is used to cross the railway lines. History

The stop was opened in 1964 under the name 94 km - in distance from the Paveletsky railway station .

In 1968, the stop was renamed and got its modern name Sitenka, from the Sitnya River flowing near it. The name of the river itself comes from the Russian folk botanical term sieve , used as a generic name for several species of marsh plants: calamus , reed , cattail , reed , chythorn .
