General information
The Sitenka stopping point is located on the three-way electrified stretch Zhilevo - Stupino . Consists of one island direct high platform located between 1 and 2 ways. 3 way stopping point is not served. A canopy was built on the platform to protect passengers from rain, there is lighting. There are no turnstiles. For the passage of passengers from the southern end of the platform through the railway tracks, a flooring was constructed. On the north side, a roadside located 30 meters northwest of the north end of the railway crossing platform is used to cross the railway lines. The ticket office is located in a separate building located near the railway crossing the railway, 20 meters west of the crossing. [five]
Sitenka is the farthest stopping point from Moscow in the Moscow-Kursk region of the Moscow Railway in the Paveletsky direction. The next stop of electric trains in this direction - Stupino station belongs to the Moscow-Ryazan region . [6]
In the vicinity of the platform are the village of Voskresenki , the villages of Aleevo , Tishkovo , Kolyupanovo and many gardening associations . In the village of Voskresenki there is the current Church of the Protection of the Holy Virgin, built in the middle of the XIX century. [7]

History
The stop was opened in 1964 under the name 94 km - in distance from the Paveletsky railway station .
In 1968, the stop was renamed and got its modern name Sitenka, from the Sitnya River flowing near it. The name of the river itself comes from the Russian folk botanical term sieve , used as a generic name for several species of marsh plants: calamus , reed , cattail , reed , chythorn .
