Rudnyanskaya volost (Bogucharsky district)

Rudnyansky volost is a historical administrative-territorial unit of the Bogucharsky district of the Voronezh province with a center in the village of Rudnya.

As of 1880 , there were 3 settlements, 3 rural communities. The population is 7985 people (3966 males and 4019 females), 1101 households [1] .

  • Rudnya is a former state village by the Novaya Tolucheevka River, 87 miles from the county town, 3,049 people , 479 yards, an Orthodox church, 2 shops.
  • Novaya Tolucheva - the former state settlement on the Novaya Tolucheevka river, 2,407 people , 340 yards, an Orthodox church, 2 shops.
  • Yasenovka - the former state settlement near the New Melovatka river, 1303 people , 224 yards, an Orthodox church, 2 shops.

According to 1900 , in the volost there were 6 settlements with a mixed Ukrainian and Russian population, 3 rural societies, 173 buildings and institutions, 1487 households, the population was 8604 people (4237 males and 4367 females) [2] .

In 1915 , the parish officer was Semyon Fokijovich Vodolazhsky , the foreman was Yakov Alekseevich Stepantsev , the volost clerk was Ohrim Kirillovich Maslov [3] .
