- United Kingdom Independence Party
It was founded in 1993 on the basis of the Union of Anti-Federalists . It has about 24 thousand members (2018) [1] . He advocates the exit of Great Britain from the European Union . Despite the great support of the electorate (about 4 million), he has only one representative in the House of Commons because of the relative majority system .
- Liberal Democratic Party
It was formed in January 1988 as a result of the merger of the Liberal Party (founded in 1877) and the Social Democratic Party (founded in 1981). Until October 1989, it was called the Social Liberal Democrats.
- UK Labor Party
It was founded in 1900. Since 1997 it has been in power. He advocates the creation of a dynamic economy that serves the interests of society, with strong private and public sectors, for a society of equal opportunities, for democracy that guarantees basic civil rights and for the protection of the environment. - Scottish National Party
